Chairman and Managing Director
Meet Mr. Anil Jadhav, a seasoned professional with over two decades of rich field experience, notably managing credit cooperatives to provide microfinance (credit and savings) services to the urban poor in Mumbai. His journey began as a Trainee in a credit cooperative society, where he swiftly ascended from a Manager to a General Manager within the same organization. Mr. Jadhav played a pivotal role in mentoring numerous credit cooperatives, offering strategic consultation for the development of client-centric products.
Actively engaged in the cooperative consortium, a federation providing extensive support to its members in adhering to industry codes of conduct, Mr. Jadhav established Hindusthan Cooperative Credit Society in 1992. This organization, an early adopter of technology, leveraged a robust platform for monitoring and tracking client maintenance.
Driven by a passion for efficient customer service, Mr. Jadhav founded an IT solutions company in 1996. Collaborating with software developers, he applied his domain knowledge to create a Core Banking Financial (CBFI) solution tailored for cooperative societies. This technology venture serviced 850 cooperatives, positioning HCCS among the few that successfully scaled operations from 700 to 48,000 active members with technological intervention.
In 2003, through Hindusthan Cooperative Credit Society, Mr. Jadhav introduced and successfully ran microfinance services. Notably, HCCS was the only credit cooperative society to secure a loan from a private bank. As the microfinance sector gained regulation, the microfinance division separated from the cooperative credit society, paving the way for the establishment of Hindusthan Microfinance Private Limited (HMPL), registered as an NBFC. Today, HMPL stands as a testament to Mr. Anil Jadhav's vision and commitment to financial inclusion.
